America at 250: What is Worth Celebrating

The subtitle of this talk is phrased as a statement, not a question. We can and should discuss America’s shortcomings. But justice demands that both sides be heard and weighed. This talk will remind us all of the great blessings we have enjoyed as a result of our people, our institutions, our culture, and perhaps even Divine intervention.

Luigi Bradizza, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in politics from the University of Dallas. He is a professor of political science in the department of political science and international relations at Salve Regina University. He has published several scholarly articles and book chapters on American political thought and political philosophy. He is the author of Richard T. Ely’s Critique of Capitalism.
