Maine’s 1976 UFO Incident in Allagash Wilderness

This presentation focuses on the Allagash Incident, a notable event in American UFO history, and its profound effects on the lives of Charlie Foltz and identical twins Jack and Jim Weiner. The session aims to inform and engage attendees by exploring the incident’s details, subsequent investigation, and the personal outcomes experienced by those involved.

Jim Weiner is an artist, retired art professor, and one of the four men involved in the widely known 1976 Allagash Wilderness UFO encounter. His experiences have been featured in books and numerous national and international television and radio programs, including Unsolved Mysteries, Sightings, and The Joan Rivers Show. A frequent speaker at UFO conferences, Weiner is also active in experiencer support groups. He holds an advanced degree in ceramics from Boston University and spent more than 28 years as an associate professor and assistant director of Macintosh Imaging Services at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
