Exceptional Eleanor (Roosevelt)

Description

Eleanor Roosevelt was one of the most extraordinary women in U.S. history. No one title or description captures her unique approach to her roles as wife, mother, First Lady, journalist, humanitarian, activist, role model, inspiration and more. Through nearly eight decades, Eleanor's exceptional view of the world led her to write, give speeches and practice her beliefs. Her trailblazing influence changed the world.

We will learn about Eleanor in three distinct periods of her life: the early years (1884-1932), the White House years (1933-1945) and her "independent" years (1945-1962). Come be inspired!
