Seven Years at the Sunday Friendship Breakfast

Description

Jan and Kathy Armor spent seven years as volunteers at the Mathewson Street United Methodist Church in Providence. They were just two of the many people from all walks of life who helped feed and clothe those in need every Sunday morning. Most of the time Jan had his camera around his neck. After a while he realized that besides the hot coffee and the bacon and eggs, what many of these folks really wanted was a listening ear and some friendship. His camera helped with that.

In this class, Jan will share his experiences with his many friends at the church. He will also share some tips and techniques for photographing on the street. Please consider bringing to class a package of white ankle-length socks as a donation for those in need at the Sunday Friendship Breakfast.
